These classes run from July 24th to October 9th, 2019
Life flows in seasons, and we want to make it easy for you to be in the right small group for you in each season. This is why we have new groups that start and stop four times a year; or every quarter at 7:00 pm. Each new series of Equipping Groups is kicked off with registration and a new set of small groups. If you would like to join an Equipping Group, just walk right into an already in session group or sign up at Guest Services when the new ones come around.
Our hope is for every person at EFIC to be connected in a meaningful community through an Equipping Group. With so many groups to choose from, we are confident there is a group that is a great fit for you.
In Unshakable Hope, Max Lucado unpacks 12 of the Bible’s most significant promises, equipping you to overcome difficult circumstances by keeping your focus on the hope found in the promises of Scripture rather than dwelling on the problems in front of you.
For every problem in life, God has given you a promise.
Hope is hard to come by these days. Whether it’s heart disease or cancer, job failure or addiction, natural disasters or family disasters, mass murders or mental illness, there are so many reasons to be overwhelmed.
In a world full of instability, we do not need more opinions or hunches; we need the definitive declarations of our mighty and loving God.
What is your life built on—the circumstances of life or the promises of God? The answer to that question changes everything. Join Max as he takes a closer look at Scripture’s unbreakable promises and shows you how to live with unshakable hope.
You may be asking many of the same questions Andrew once did. Is prayer my Christian duty? Is prayer primarily about asking God to meet my needs and the needs of others? Is God's answer to my prayer based on the degree of humility and sincerity? Is answered prayer a sovereign decision of God or do I have the ability to influence Him?
Clear, scriptural answers to these questions and more could significantly change the way you pray. These principles may not be the only way to pray, but if you're not getting the results you desire, consider changing directions; maybe there is A Better Way to Pray.
